In the second home bout of the 2014 season, the Prairieland Punishers took on the NEMO Viqueens from Northeast Missouri in an action-packed bout. The night was kicked off with a mixer featuring newer skaters from multiple leagues. The mixer was an exciting battle between the Pirates and the Vikings, with the Vikings taking the victory. After the mixer, the Punishers and the Viqueens skated it out. The Punishers won their fifth game of the season 187 to 78. A portion of the night’s proceeds was donated to United Cerebral Palsy.
