Punishers Vs. Mo-Kan Roller Girlz

On April 9, 2016, the Prairieland Punisher All-Stars traveled down to Joplin, MO to take on the Mo-Kan All-Stars for their second sanctioned bout of the 2016 season. Though the drive was long, the Punisher All-Stars came ready to play. As soon as the bout started, it proved to be full of physical play. Each side of blockers were strong and ready to slow down the opposing jammer. For this reason, the score stayed small throughout the bout. The Punisher All-Stars took an early lead and kept increasing it up to the end of the first half with a score of 51 to 93.

The second half proved to be filled with more physical play on both sides, which resulted in penalty trouble. This greatly affected the Mo-Kan All-Stars since their team only played with 9 members. The Punisher All-Stars took advantage of this opportunity by maintaining a lead during the second half. Towards the end of the bout, the Mo-Kan All-Stars fought back to give the Punisher All-Stars a run for their money. It was not enough though – the Prairieland Punisher All-Stars won with a score of 128 to 159.
